    Which Bible Version Is Best?

Sincere attention really does need to be applied if you want to study from a Bible that accurately interprets the Old and New Testaments of the Holy Scriptures.   This is important because the Bible is not just a book ... it is a divinely inspired work.   Every word, every jot and tittle bears a meaning that will be revealed by the Messiah, Jesus Christ, when we are able to receive it.   This inspired work of the Holy Spirit is the only book in the world that deals with prophecy ... and it is the only book in the world that was created outside of time, revealing that God knows the end from the beginning.

Obviously, Jesus never spoke in "Biblical English" ... and surprising as it may seem, no one in His day ever called Him Jesus; they called Him by His actual name -- Yahshua.   Surely, God's Word has been interpreted into many languages and the world being the imperfect place that it is, there exists no Bible that is without fault - except the original Hebrew and Greek texts, of course.   But don't let all that stand in the way of you learning The Message that has been encoded throughout the Scriptures in such a way that mankind could never hinder.

As I just said, there exists no Bible that is without fault ... however, the greatest fault of them all, in my opinion, is the downright blasphemous act that every English version I know of has performed ... and that is the absolute removal of the Father's hallowed and sacred name Yahweh, commonly referred to as the Tetragrammaton.   If you read the Preface or Introduction of your own Bible, you'll see reference to this act stating something to the effect that YHWH has been replaced with Lord or Adonai.

If you want to understand more about all this, read my essay:

That being said, the most important note I believe I can make on this subject is this: If you are sincerely and diligently seeking to know Yahweh -- God -- and His only begotten Son, Yahshua ha Mashiach -- Jesus the Messiah -- the truth will be shown to you by Ruach ha Kodesh -- the Holy Spirit -- who reveals all truth to those who earnestly seek Him.

The short of it is this: The Authorized Version of the King James Bible is the most trustworthy interpretation of them all.   It may be hard to read with all those words like thee, ye and thou ... however, it's worth noting that the KJV uses the word you over 1800 times.   And when you consider how the word you may be used for singular or plural references, whereas words like thee, ye and thou are strictly singular references, you begin to understand why the "Biblical English" works so well in accurately interpreting the Scriptures ... problem is, who understands these little details about "Biblical English" words? Sigh ...

The KJV does have errors, however ... in Acts 7:45 and in Hebrews 4:8 the name Jesus is mistakenly used to refer to Joshua of Nun ... in Genesis 4:26-b it says that men began to call upon the name of the Lord, when the original Hebrew says that men began to profane the Name of YHWH (all Bibles make that mistake, except for the HalleluYah Scriptures) ... and in Philippians 3:11 it says resurrection when it should say out of the resurrection (again, all Bibles miss this one, except for the HalleluYah Scriptures).

Previously, my favorite Bible was the New International Version (NIV).   The NIV not only reads very comfortably in terms of modern day English, but it really does a great job in interpreting the truer meanings and intentions of those originally-penned Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek portions of Scripture.   Note: It's not as poor as many others but, nonetheless, it does have some very serious faults.   All those faults are listed in my NIV Bible Clinic.   I've gone through the entire list and made notes in my NIV, so now I have a "corrected version."

More recently, I've discovered a Bible that has become my absolute favorite and my personal advice is to get yourself a copy of HalleluYah Scriptures (see below for more).

The Best Bible Version of All Is the HalleluYah Scriptures!
It really doesn't get any better than this! Check out this video:

Restored Name Bible

Whatever Bible version you use, always pray and ask the Father to bind the powers of darkness, and to open the eyes of your heart as you read His Holy Word ... and always ask this in the name of His beloved and only begotten Son; the Name Above All Names; Yahweh.

Yahweh | Ancient Hebrew

Many "names" have been given to the Creator of Heaven and Earth ... however, He has but one name and that is Yahweh; all others are not names but descriptive titles.

Yahweh

The worst of them all: There is a growing number of free-verse/paraphrased types of bibles being published that, to the unknowing, seem to be very pleasing and easy to understand.   However, these books are absolutely worthless and can only serve to lead readers completely away from The Truth.   They not only distort and muttle the ideas and intentions behind the original Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek Scriptures, but they utterly lose sight of any hidden prophecies that are magnificently revealed to those who search out the deeper meanings in the Scriptures.

Lastly, I would encourage you to avoid Bibles that are translations, like The New World Translation ... and stick to versions, like The King James Version or The New International Version, etc. -- there is a big difference between translations and versions of the Bible:

But when he, the Spirit of Truth, is come,
he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself;
but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak:
and he will show you things to come.

John 16:13 (RNKJV)

Behold, the days come, saith the Sovereign Yahweh,
that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread,
nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of Yahweh.

Amos 8:11 (RNKJV)
