Everyone believes in something ... this section of my site is intended to share my personal, spiritual beliefs; a very important part of what I've always been all about and a very significant aspect concerning what inspires me to write and perform.
I've never been one to proselytize and I've never been much of a church-goer either, but I have always been an avid reader of all things spiritual and I have always been eager to engage in any such conversations with friends and acquaintances; with anyone who had a question to pose or answers of their own to share.
My spiritual studies began at a very early age, beginning with the Bible and advancing to books like the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Lost Books of the Bible. When I got into my teens, I started questioning what religion itself was all about. I had friends that were Catholics, Jews, Protestants, Atheists, Buddists ... my dad had always instructed me that there were as many religions and philosophies in the world as there were men, and that when I was old enough I would have to determine the truth about these things for myself. And that's just what I did.
Over the past 40 years or so, I have studied the Bible quite regularly ... I've always had two or three versions of the Holy Scriptures in my possession ... throughout my life I've always "walked with God" -- maintaining an ongoing conversation with Him about what I was doing here, where I was going, what He might have of me in whatever situation I found myself, and how I might best please Him with what I was doing with the life He gave me. It may seem strange to you, I don't know, but as a very young boy I felt that I was "sent" here ... that my life was no mistake ... that there was a very specific reason for me being born and that I had something worthwhile to contribute to the paths I would wind up encountering; to the people that would come into my life. And with such a premise as that to begin with, it's no wonder I've lived a life filled with philosophical and spiritual pursuits and it's no wonder to me that a guitar and a voice full of songs has carried me through the years onto stages across America and into the homes of princes and paupers alike.
I've read the Upanishads and the Vedas, Krishna and the Mahabharata ... I've studied Buddism, Rosecrucianism, Scientology and Christian Science ... I've read the Course in Miracles numerous times ... but none of any of it holds a single grain of sand when compared to the endless shores of Jesus Christ and what the Holy Scriptures have to reveal to anyone who looks into them with any sincerity. No one has ever claimed to be Messiah and no one has ever spoken of Heaven from the standpoint of having been there themselves ... except for Jesus Christ; Yahshua ha Mashiach -- the only begotten Son of God -- "... for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
I have been in love with the One and Only for a long, long time ... and I aim to share the wonderful mysteries that have been revealed to me ... here, on my web site.
