This song was partially inspired by Lois ... who briefly transited through my life in a most amazing flurry of fun and games (see Crush) in the winter months of 1992.
The interplay on words was a major inspiration in writing this song ... like Lois - full of complexity, fun, mystery and unpredictability. There's a TV episode of In the Heat of the Night starring Carroll O'Connor, that features Lois' acting abilities ... she plays a rough and wild, long-haired blonde, troublesome teen ... a real Cat Burglar.
