"Danny had a girl, he gave her all of his heart ..."
I wrote this song way back in 1984 ... it's all about my divorce. "Danny" was originally "Daddy;" I was "talking" to my daughter, lyrically speaking, while I was writing this -- she was only 2 years old ... and not being able to explain my absence to her, evoked this song.
... that's her dog, Sugar, barking in the "outro."
