"Turnaround" was written and recorded March 13th, 1985
at my sister Pam's house - Westwood, New Jersey

From the Piscataway Basement Tapes CD :
Alan Horvath: Vocal | Gibson Hummingbird Guitar | Roland Jupiter-6 Synthesizer

I had a Roland Jupiter-6 synthesizer for a while and even though I have a lot of fun playing keyboards, I'm an acoustic kind of guy and pianos make me happier ... but, for memory's sake, I recorded this just before I sold the synth away.

"I can't talk now, babe ... I got somebody holding on the line."

I wrote this song in 1985, when I was living in Westwood, New Jersey.   I had picked up a temporary day-gig doing telephone surveys for some extra cash ... there were 8 or 9 telephone-solicitors in the office ... one, being a sweet little blonde-haired girl, named Kristin.   I wound up spending a lot of time with her and, consequently, wrote this song.
