This is a very exciting song to perform ... it's about as raw as I get and writing it was an experience, as well. Blues. Pure Blues. I didn't write it about anyone in particular, and I think that was the whole point -- there wasn't anyone in my life and I was vexed about it.
Just another primal scream for the love of a woman ...
That's me, at the start of the song, getting so fed up with Sugar's begging that I put the entire pie (what was left of it) on the floor for her to eat.
