Woke up this morning
In a steady rain ...
Put on some coffee
And decided not to shave ...
Picked up my heart ...
Put it where it don't get in my way.
Looked out the window,
It was cold and gray ...
You tried calling -
I've got nothing left to say ...
I don't know why these clouds don't just get up
And roll away. Go ahead now ...
Cry, cry, cry ... cry in vain.
You've got to walk on ...
You've got to walk on through the rain,
Until the storm cloud blows away.
Cry, cry, cry ... cryin' vein;
There's nothing you can do when the chips are down;
Give it all up to the Lost & Found;
Look ahead to a brighter day;
Pray for sunshine ... maybe ...
Baby ... maybe ... you'll find a rainbow
Shining at the end. Go ahead now ...
Cry, cry, cry ... cry in vain.
You've got to walk on ...
Walk on, walk on through the rain,
Until the storm cloud blows away.
Cry, cry, cry ... cryin' vein.
