My couzin Kenny took this photo of me, in his back yard, a couple of blocks away from New Brunswick High School ... that's my uncle Joe's grape vine - we had one in our back yard that was one righteous vine, too ... I use to enjoy picking those shoots and eating them. Tart as a lemon!

Edison, New Jersey | 1971

This shot was taken during a brief trip back to Jersey from L.A. ... I was attending a wedding with a bunch of close friends ... and that's my Gibson Hummingbird ... when it was still quite new!

New Brunswick, New Jersey | 1972

This was taken a year later ... back in Jersey, from L.A. again ... I was home for Christmas - which is always my favorite time of the year. I guess growing up in a large family had a lot to do with that ... my Mom had the first set of triplets in Middlesex County; I have five older sisters ... and growing up in an Italian neighborhood with a crowd of kids my own age made for a pretty cool Christmas *every* year.

This picture was taken at Lake George, New York ... taken by my brother-in-law, Walter ... he was using my camera (which had a red filter on the lens). Youth is everything, man.
